First Aid Training – Premiers Secours Citoyen (PSC)

Course Description

When an emergency happens at work, the first few minutes are critical. Our First Aid training — the Premiers Secours Citoyen (PSC) — equips your employees with the knowledge, reflexes and confidence to act immediately, protect those around them and alert emergency services effectively, while waiting for organised rescue teams to arrive.

Who Is This Training For?

This program is designed for any employee, at any level, across all industries. No medical background or prior experience is required. It is particularly relevant for HR managers and team leaders with a duty of care to fulfill workplace health and safety obligations and for any organisation that understands that a prepared workforce is a protected workforce.

How It Works

The training is delivered on-site, directly at your workplace, by a certified PSC instructor. Sessions are organised on demand and capped at 10 to 12 participants to ensure every team member receives hands-on, personalised instruction across the full 12-hour program, spread over 2 days.

What Your Team Will Learn

The PSC curriculum is structured around three core pillars:

Protect — Identify risks, secure the scene, prevent further accidents and perform emergency evacuations when required.

Alert — Rapidly assess the victim, know the emergency numbers and communicate a clear, structured alert message to rescue services.

Act — Master life-saving first aid gestures including airway obstruction management in adults and children, external haemorrhage control, recovery position (PLS), CPR and AED use, burns, wounds, fractures, sprains and fainting.
